How is the patient referred?
An insurance company or solicitors' firm refer the patient to TTN, when it has been identified, usually by a medico-legal report, that psychological therapy is required. TTN has a database of psychologists working in a particular geographical area, who have the required skills to be working with a patient's presenting problem. TTN staff will consult this database to determine who can provide the service required.
If treatment is required and authorised for the patient, TTN's Rehab Managers will be on hand throughout the treatment process to help and advise the practitioner on any issues arising e.g. patient compliance, DNAs, further treatment requests.
TTN pride ourselves on developing and maintaining excellent working relationships with all the practitioners on our network. When asked for feedback recently, 95% of the practitioners who responded rated TTN's staff efficiency as very good or excellent.
