How does the referral process work?
The patient is referred to TTN and then onto the practitioner serving that geographic area. TTN will telephone the practitioner with the patient’s details in order for the practitioner to contact the patient to arrange an examination. TTN will confirm the referral in writing to the practitioner and will provide them with Treatment Proposal and Patient Progress forms to be filled out at the patient's Initial and Review Assessments.
If treatment is required and authorised for the patient, TTN's Rehab Managers will be on hand throughout the treatment process to help and advise the practitioner on any issues arising e.g. patient compliance, DNAs, further treatment requests.
TTN pride ourselves on developing and maintaining excellent working relationships with all the practitioners on our network. When asked for feedback, 95% of practitioners who responded rated TTN's staff efficiency as very good or excellent.
