What can TTN's Network offer?
The Treatment Network specialises in organising physical treatment, psychological treatment and diagnostic imaging in the form of MRI and CT scans UK-wide.
Physical Treatments
Our professional network is selected and monitored to ensure the highest standards of treatment. We inspect a selection of our clinics throughout the year and constantly monitor their administrative compliance ensuring that even the strictest service level agreements can be achieved.
| Physiotherapy | Members of CSP and OCPPP |
| Osteopathy | Members of BOA and GOC |
| Chiropractic | Members of BCA and GCC |
| Podiatry | Members of SCP and BCPA |
Once a patient has been referred to us, they will be fast-tracked to a local practitioner within 24 hours for an assessment.
A typical treatment programme will consist of:
- An initial assessment (includes treatment)
- 2 treatment sessions
- A final assessment (includes treatment)
Our physical treatment fees are standardised across the country (within London or the Channel Islands there is a small weighting).
Psychological Treatment
Our psychology network specialises in treating patients suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder or anxiety problems associated with a personal injury. Although a wide range of treatment is available, the most widely used are:
| Counselling | Chartered and members of BPS |
| Cognitive Behavioural Therapy | Chartered and members of BPS |
| Clinical Psychology | Chartered and members of BPS |
| Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) | Chartered and members of BPS. Accredited by EMDR UK and Ireland Association |
Once a patient has been referred to us, we will contact the nearest and most appropriate psychologist to the patient and provide you with the cost of an assessment and treatment.
As the types of psychology treatment can vary dramatically, prices are quoted on a bespoke basis for each case. These prices are always agreed with the referring party prior to treatment commencing.
Diagnostic Tools
Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is now a recognised tool for diagnosing and monitoring many conditions that arise as part of a PI claim. If a claimant’s injury is not responding to physical treatment, it is sometimes necessary to investigate the problem further through MRI or CT scanning. MRI delivers high resolution computerised images of the body and, unlike X-Ray has no known side effects.
TTN can provide access to MRI scanning sites across the UK at cost effective standardised prices for single or multiple areas of the body. You will receive the actual films from the scans and a Consultant Radiologist’s report detailing their findings and opinion.
